In this fun, hands-on class, you’ll learn how to make the stylish and practical Hemingway Pouch—a versatile zippered bag that’s perfect for organizing sewing supplies, travel essentials, cosmetics, or everyday odds and ends. With its roomy design and sturdy structure, this pouch is as useful as it is good-looking.

Sue will guide you step-by-step through the process, sharing helpful tips for accurate cutting, smooth zipper installation, and professional finishing techniques. Whether you’re new to bag-making or looking to expand your sewing skills, you’ll gain confidence while creating a pouch you’ll love to use (and probably want to make again!).

CLASS INFORMATION

• Students get 15% off class supplies, Plus 10% off anything on day of class! (excluding machines)
• Call or Stop in for Class Supply List (207-474-9628)
• Class Fee $30 (plus pattern & cost of supplies).Payment in full is required at time of sign up.
• Class starts promptly at 10:30. Arrive early to allow yourself ample machine setup time.
• Feel free to bring a bag lunch / snack (covered drinks please). We will break for lunch at our stations.

General Class Supplies

• Your sewing machine - in good working order, with bobbin, spool cap, foot control, power cord, new needle & ¼" foot.
• Good quality sewing thread.
• Rotary mat & Rotary cutter with new blade
• Scissors & pins

Cancellation Policy

If Seam Sew Perfect Cancels- Class fee is fully refunded. If you cancel before a week in advance- Store credit will be issued. If you cancel 7 days before class date - class is non-refundable.
